Principal’s Message

Dear Lion Family, 


Happy Friday to you and yours. 


We had another busy week this week at LVLA in hosting the Supervisor of Santa Clara County Cindy Chavez, the Superintendent Glenn Vander Zee, and the President of the Board of Trustees at the East Side Union High School District, Lorena Chavez, taking students on a field trip to the Google Campus, Mr. Carreon and Mr. Gomez with their students preparing the altar for Dia De Los Muertos, and hosting Senior Night for Volleyball. Ms. Saira Canales took 3 of our students this week to join Google for a day of inspiring high school girls to discover the diversity of STEM careers and hands-on experience to pursue such careers. Workshops, panels, and networking opportunities will be available!

Homework Center - This will be open to all students who need extra support to complete work after school for approximately an hour after school housed in the Student Success Center Room 102. 10/10 Rule - Students must be in class during the 1st 10 minutes and the last 10 minutes of class (Restrooms and Offices will not be available).


Hall Passes - Students out of class must possess a Hall Pass from teachers or office staff. 


Bathroom Ramp - Due to students’ sensitivity and to provide safety and comfort for all students using the bathroom, we will clear out students hanging out on the bathroom ramp during brunch and lunch. Please have no more than 5 students in the bathroom at one time. 


No RED No Blue - For Safety Reasons, students are not allowed to wear red or blue attire on campus.
